| Last month
we came up with a new idea we have to replace the blog talk radio
that we used to do once a month. The new concept is the
“Ventriloquist Central Telephone Talk”. Instead of having to mess
with the computer to try and listen to interviews that we conduct,
you use your telephone to call in like you would a conference call.
This allows you to ask questions and participate in the phone calls
much easier than we had before.
Our first “Ventriloquist Central
Telephone Talk” happened on November 17th with ventriloquist figure
builder, Conrad Hartz. I have to say it was a great success
and from everyone's response they loved it too.
We will be doing these calls on the
third Thursday of every month, so our next call will be on December
15th at 8pm Eastern time (7pm Central, 6pm Mountain, 5pm Pacific).
Please be sure to mark you calendar so you can be a part of the
phone call. To participate all you have to do is call in to
our conference telephone number, then enter the conference access
code. The telephone number is, 712-432-3900 and the access code is,
532161# (your normal long distance charges may apply).
Next up on our Ventriloquist
Central Telephone Talk is figure maker, Pastor Scott Bryte.
Scott Bryte has been mentioned many times here on Ventriloquist
Central and there are two of his figures in the Ventriloquist

The only way you’ll be able to listen to the interview or ask
questions is to be on the call. So be sure to write the telephone
number and access code down so you can call in next Thursday.

What Size Ventriloquist Figure Is Best
There has been much discussion as to
sizes of ventriloquist figures and what constitutes a professional
size figure. I really think that this is a subjective idea at best.
The reason I say that is because ventriloquist figures have been
made by pro figure makers in all sizes. They range in size from 18″
tall to 46″ tall. So which size is the professional size...

and he came with his family to the Birthday Bash. During the
afternoon we found out that it was he and not his father that was

Here’s a video of a wonderful carved
figure done by the Mack shop , which has some extra features not
usually found. This fellow has slot jaw, rolling eye winker, smoker
and spitter. Most of the Mack figures had just slot jaw and maybe a
winker. The paint on this figure is also 90% original.
