if you have noticed lately but the big selling site has had
basically nothing in the way of Ventriloquist Figures except for the
on slot of ministry puppets. It really gets boring looking at the
same old same old being sold by folks with” stores” and there is
very little being sold by individuals.
Therefore, I am shouting out to you all that have anything you want
to sell in the world of ventriloquism, to really think about using
the Ventriloquist Central Marketplace. There are a few reasons. No
multiple junk puppet listings , no partners to pay for making your
sale, just real ventriloquism figures or puppets and a very small
listing fee. All the transactions are between you and a buyer.
Ventriloquist Central is not involved with your sale.
I know we all love that big site but lets be real. VERY LITTLE is
being listed today that we want. So give the Ventriloquist

Thoughts on Direct Linkage or Cord Control
Since the beginning of the use of
ventriloquist figures the mechanics inside the head were done with
cord and springs and either a ring pull or a lever on the head stick
to make them work. For the most part makers were smart enough to use
a small pulley over which the cord would ride to make the mouth
function....

Brant Gilmer is one of the few today
that I would consider to be like an old time figure maker. He does

Our Way of Saying Thanks to All of You!
Wow just right around the corner
and we will be having the best birthday party I can think of.
Ventriloquist Central is 5 years old. I just can’t wrap my brain
around that fact but it is true.
Steve and I never dreamed this would happen but the site is now the
largest Ventriloquism site on the net. Thanks goes out to all of you
who have stuck by us and helped with the information you all have
given.
The Birthday Bash was the only way Steve and I could think of to say
thanks personally and to give everyone another chance to have a
great vent get together.
I understand the economy has hit some (maybe even you) but if you’re
at all interested in being at the biggest ventriloquial party of the
year, then be sure to register to come to the Birthday Bash.
Some of the people that will be presenting or performing at the Bash
are Ray Guyll, Bill Nelson, Bob Abdou, Ed Thomas, Mike Robinson
along with a few attendees you may have heard of, David Pendleton,
Tom Crowl, David Carruth, Ron Scherer, Jim Maurer, just to mention a
few.
Of course the big highlight of the Birthday Bash is to see the
Ventriloquist Central Collection. Instead of seeing the pictures on
the website, you’ll get to be up close and personal with the
collection. Those who have seen it in the past have been in awe of
all the ventriloquist figures.
