This month’s newsletter is kind of an abbreviated version due to the ConVENTion this month which has Steve and me trying to make up for being gone in our own businesses. Thank you for understanding.

The Vent Haven ConVENTion 2011 is over but NOW we are in HIGH gear getting ready for the Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash on October 8th here in Boston. As I type this it’s less than 70 days away.

We are putting the final touches on the schedule, events and shows which promises to be a fun-filled packed day.

And if you haven’t heard yet, Ed Thomas and Hugo will be performing at our Saturday night show too.

One of the questions that we have received is “will there be a dealer’s room”?

No, we won’t have a specific dealer’s room, however, if you are a dealer or just have something(s) to sell and you want to come to the Birthday Bash, please do. We have no problem with you making it known to everyone that you have items available and please feel free to offer them to all in attendance.

In case you didn’t see this on the blog, some want to make a mini vacation during that week and wondered if the room rates would be the same for a longer period of time. I’m happy to report that this is no problem. So if you want to go early or stay a few days later, it will still be at the same rate.

I can’t stress enough that time is running out and registrations are coming in so if you are on the fence about coming to the Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash, I suggest you make your decision now. We can only accommodate 75 people at this event and after that your name will be put on a waiting list.

Final Thoughts

I’ve already stated in one of my blogs how much I enjoyed this year’s ConVENTion and is making me even more excited about the Birthday Bash.

Even though I like all the shows, dealer’s room, lectures, etc.., at the ConVENTion one of the main things I enjoy is seeing the old friends, making new friends and the comradery while there.

While all that is nice, when you have over 500 people in attendance (as they did this year), you never get to see everyone and at times can get a little crazy.

With our Birthday Bash we are limited to having 75 people and this will make it a little more intimate where everyone can share ideas and get to know one another.

It really is going to be a great time and I hope to see you there!
