At the last Ventriloquist Central Birthday Bash we started the day by gathering at the hotel and spending a few minutes socializing with everyone. Then we broke up in groups to go over and see the famed Ventriloquist Central Collection.

A GREAT time was had by all. In fact, check out some of last year’s fun…..

 

We will start off the day with some quick introductions and then break up into small groups to go see the Ventriloquist Central Collection (transportation provided).

Once we get back to the hotel, we'll have some time before lunch, so Steve and I will talk about some interesting "behind the scenes" stories, information and history about the Ventriloquist Central website.

As an added extra this year, we are offering an optional group lunch……where everyone (if you want to join us) will get together have lunch at a great little place. They will provide us with a nice room where we’ll be to ourselves along with a buffet style lunch offering a choice of three different entrees, a salad and dessert. It will be fun to have everyone in the same room enjoying each others company. (We will provide transportation).

The afternoon workshops/lectures will be fun as well as informative.

First up will be Bob Abdou and he will be  talking about "Write, Rewrite, Perform", showing you how to write ideas and answers to questions, rewrite them and perform all within 60 minutes. 

You've seen Bob's "Tidbits" on the Ventriloquist Central blog and this will be kind of an extended version of his helpful information that this professional ventriloquist has to share.

Next up will be my partner (and brother from another mother), Steve Hurst.  As most of you know, Steve has his own business with one part of it is building websites and helping his clients with marketing their products and services.  As Steve says he "helps you increase sales and profits by utilizing today’s technology."

Steve's subject will be, "How to Make Your Website Work For YOU".  He'll show you ways to get the best results out of your website to bring in more shows and opportunities by using a website model that has been PROVEN to work.

Following Steve, we have our good friend Mike Robinson who's been a professional entertainer for most of his life.  He's also spent over 10 years performing on the Holland American cruise ships. 

Mike's talk will be, "Secrets of Being a Professional Ventriloquist", where he'll give you the "ins and outs" of being a professional ventriloquist.  He'll also be doing an extensive Q&A session so you can ask him anything about how to be a pro.

After our afternoon talks, then we'll have an "Open Mike" session for those who want to perform or just try out some new material.

So as you can see it’s guaranteed to be a fun time!!!

We were able to get a discounted rate at the Hyatt Place Boston/Medford hotel once again. This is a very nice hotel with great accommodations. The normal rate is $219.00, but we’re able to get the rooms for $155 per night (1,2,3 or 4 occupancy.... if you share a room with others you can really save).
