"Access your Clipboard" Pop Up

If you are using Internet Explorer 7 and keep getting the pop up that states... "Do you want to allow this webpage to access your Clipboard?", here's what is happening and a solution.

More than likely your clipboard access setting is set to PROMPT instead of DISABLE (which still keeps your clipboard secure).

Here’s how to change the setting:

Open Up Internet Explorer

Go To TOOLS, scroll down to INTERNET OPTIONS

Click on the SECURITY tab

Click on the CUSTOM LEVEL button at the bottom

Scroll down almost to the bottom, you’ll see “ALLOW PROGRAMMATIC CLIPBOARD ACCESS”, click on the DISABLE

Click OK, a box will pop up that states, "Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?", click OK

Click OK again….you’re done.
